Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure Now Scheduled to Open in the Morning!

Great news Potter fans - Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure should be ready for you at park opening according to the latest information from Universal Orlando. The ride was previously opening midday to accommodate a busy maintenance schedule.

The Hagrid ride is an unrivaled story-coaster experience located inside Islands of Adventure.

"Our specific operating hours will continue to vary, but we will be working to open Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure in the morning and accommodate as many guests as possible throughout the day. However, given the ride's popularity and current wait times, we will close the attraction prior to park close so we can begin our routine daily maintenance to ensure the experience continues to be great." Said Universal Studios late Wednesday.

Hagrid's Magical Creature Motorbike Adventure takes place in ruins around Hogwarts School. The ride has received rave reviews since opening one month ago. 

This is great news for Summer vacationers and guests planning their trip to Islands of Adventure. We recommend arriving approximately one hour before park opening to experience the attraction. The ride will still close before official park closing, so make sure you are in line 3-4 hours before the Island's of Adventure closing time.

The Hagrid roller coaster opened with a 180-minute minute wait Thursday morning, climbing to 210 minutes by 10:00am. Wait times have generally been around 4 hours throughout the day due to reports that the ride is not able to run at full capacity just yet.

Lines at the park entrance gates do form for the new ride before official opening, so it is best to arrive early to the park to beat waiting in the midday heat.
