New Space Restaurant to Open "Later this Year" at EPCOT.

Disney has finally released some more details on the new space-themed restaurant coming to EPCOT. The new sit-down dining experience will open later this year in the available space between the Mission:Space and Test Track attractions at Walt Disney World's EPCOT theme park.
The new restaurant's dining area has a screen set back a few feet from the "windows," creating depth for the illusion of eating hundreds of miles above Earth.
Disney's Jennifer Fickley-Baker, Content Manager at Walt Disney World says "the restaurant will invite guests to travel to space for an amazing dining experience in the stars. The new restaurant will be operated by the Patina Restaurant Group, led by Nick Valenti, which operates several other restaurants around Walt Disney World Resort, including Tutto Italia and Via Napoli at Epcot."

The outer-space eatery will feature international cuisine in an "out-of-this-world" setting, offering more than 1,000 different wines and a large selection of craft brews.

Work is moving fast at the construction site, with an aerial from Bioreconstruct on Twitter showing us the latest progress around the area, seen below.
To the left, the round Test Track building can be seen, with the new Space Restaurant to the immediate right. The surrounding exterior wall is expected to be where the screens will be, while the completed roof to the inside of that will be where the "windows" are situated.
