Star Tours at Hollywood Studios and Disneyland is set to get new sequences halfway through next month.
The new randomized sequences will begin on November 17.

Star Tours' new sequence will debut at Disneyland park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios on November 17, at Disneyland Paris November 22, and, as previously announced, at Tokyo Disneyland December 15! -Disney
"Star Tours - The Adventure Continues" already has thirteen different segments that riders can experience during the 3D Motion Simulator ride. The new sequence will take place on Planet Crait, and is currently expected to just be one new segment.
While the ride is just a simple sim with a screen, it does attract many guests due to the Star Wars name and randomization elements. Riders currently experience 4 different segments per ride.
