White Water Kicks Off Summer Season Saturday, May 25

(Branson, Missouri) Dive into 13 acres of water rides and slides beginning May 25 at White Water, a tropical adventure located in America’s Heartland with over 2 million gallons of fun. Voted as a top 5 Best Outdoor Water Park by USA Today’s 10Best, White Water has more than a dozen themed attractions with something for every age and thrill-seeking level.

In 2019, White Water will focus on the guest experience and its immersive, tropical theme with re-imagination on various attractions and theming elements. Splashaway Cay, an interactive family attraction with slides and geysers, will see a brand-new color palette throughout the entire structure, along with an all-new massive tipping bucket filled with hundreds of gallons of water. The water park’s 500,000-gallon Surf’s Up Wave Pool will sport a new look, too, with bright and vibrant colors, along with massive turtles painted on the floor of the pool.

Known for its big rides, big slides and big thrills, White Water’s KaPau Plummet launches riders on a mega-thrill, heart-pounding ride. The adventure begins as riders step inside a launch capsule atop a four-story tower. Once inside, the countdown begins: 3…2…1 KAPAU! The bottom of each slide drops out, creating a free fall with a near-vertical 70-degree plunge through two 240-foot dueling slides, followed by a spiraling loop… speeding at 26 feet per second into a looping translucent waterslide before the final splashdown.

In addition to KaPau Plummet, thrill rides include the 7-story, 6-slide Kalani Towers, with two 300-foot drop slides and four additional 312-foot slides for lane racing. For a more relaxing adventure, Aloha River is an 800-foot themed river, where tube riders float the turns under fountains, misters and geysers. Coconut Cove, a half-million dollar interactive area, is designed specifically for smaller kids with water slides, water blasters, “bubbler” fountains, hose jets, tipping buckets and more.

For families who want a private space to gather, rental cabanas are available and come outfitted with tables, chairs, 32” television with satellite access, ceiling fans and a personal locker, four lounge chairs and four tubes. New in 2019 are three additional premium cabanas, each with its own host to ensure the ultimate guest experience.

A popular event in July and August is Night Water, when the water park is open late until 10 p.m. Slides and attractions are open into the night with fireworks lighting up the sky every Saturday in July, August 3 and 10. Night Water runs on Fridays and Saturdays from July 5 to August 10.

Fun food options with a tropical flair include BBQ, iced coffees, fresh-squeezed lemonade, fresh salads, and even smoothies. Hula Hula Taco pairs island flavors on carnitas, barbacoa, grilled chicken or ground beef, with guacamole, sour cream and salsa.

White Water is open May 25 – September 2, 2019. Information and combo ticket options:
