New Details Announced for Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure.

Universal Orlando's new Harry Potter roller coaster coming to the Islands of Adventure theme park is promising to be a one-of-a-kind ride with surprises around every twist and turn. With new details announced today, we now know the top speed of the ride (50 miles per hour) and the massive amount of work that has gone into creating this unique roller coaster.

In the official video announcement, Alan Gilmore, Art Director for the Harry Potter films, says, "First you'll join Hagrid's 'Care of Magical Creatures Class,' where you'll board enchanted motorbikes, just like Hagrid's."

"This is unlike any other ride vehicle you've ever been on before, your experience will be different depending on if you are on the motorbike or in the sidecar." said Alan.

You'll fly deep into the forest discovering the rarest magical creatures the Wizarding World has to offer, including a creature that was not seen in the movies! Also expect encounters with Fluffy, Cornish Pixies, Devil's Snare, and more! The park planted 1,200 trees to make the forest feel as authentic as possible!
The ride is not easily visible to guests at the theme park and has been a closely-guarded secret for many years.
"Hagrid is a huge fan favorite so we knew we had to make it unlike any other experience in the whole world... the highest level of storytelling, and the best use of technology throughout," said Alan Gilmore.  And of course, as often the case with Hagrid, things don’t go as planned! The new adventure will open to the public on June 13, only at the Universal Studios Resort in Orlando, Florida!
