American Dream Mall/Entertainment Complex- Coaster Track On-site

New Jersey's Huge New Mall Slowly Making Progress.

After years of being pushed back further and further (over 10 years from the original planned opening), coaster track has arrived on site at the American Dream Mall, signalling a good start to the Nickelodeon Universe that is planned for the new huge entertainment complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey, about 70 miles closer to the city than Six Flags Great Adventure.

Track is on site.

The ski slope has been standing most of the time during the construction, with a partial collapse and buckle under a heavy snowfall reported. The Mall has been ridden with nothing but delays since the project began in 2002.
The exterior of the "soon-to-be-open" ski slope. Will it ever see snow?
With track on-site, things look good for the theme park to be open next year, but we'll just have to wait and see with this project. The opening of a large entertainment complex this close to the city could be a bad sign for Six Flags Great Adventure.
