Splash Mountain Refurb Begins, Closed Through November 16th

Splash Mountain at the Magic Kingdom will be going down for an almost 3 month long refurbishment this Summer and Fall. The attraction will be closed August 28th through November 6th, 2017, reopening on the 17th should all go according to plan. -wdwnt.com

Just a heads up to people travelling for the Halloween Season, don't get too excited for Splash Mountain as it will be down for planned refurb. Nothing of concern, it's a water ride and needs refurb quite often, especially for a ride that runs every day.

The rivers will be running dry for a few months during the slightly colder/slower season. Although I do believe a January-March time frame would be better.
