Championship Round: The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror vs. Montu

This is it! The moment we've been building towards since August! The final round of the original AI Tournament of Champions! It's been one exciting ride after another (no pun intended) but this is the big one for sure:

What's started as thirty-two contenders has been narrowed down to just two: the best of the best. One attraction representing Walt Disney World, one representing Busch Entertainment.

You voted them above all else - now only one can claim the crown!

The championship round that we've waited more than two months for has finally begun!

Well I voted for the Tower for a couple of reasons but my main reason is the theme and the story it tells so well. From the moment you enter the queue to when you leave the elevator shaft into the gift shop you are fully immersed into a world that only Disney can take you to. Its a ride that delivers the full and total package.

On a side note I want to say kudos to Montu for making it this far. Its a ride that I thought would of never made it this far in the tourney. Its an overall amazing rollercoaster that again IMO is one of the best inverts in the world.

Congrats again to both attractions especially Montu.

Well the final round... my vote goes to ToT as I said in previous threads. I can´t think about anything to add about it at this time.

I will say though that I am happy Montu got to the final and that if the other finalist wasn't ToT, I would probably vote for it.

Montu is a VERY worthy contender and definitely one of my favorite coasters. Much like Tomas' feeling here, I'd probably vote for it if it wasn't matched up against The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

Rode Tower just yesterday - and even after quite literally thousands of rides on it over the past ten years, it *still* is just as thrilling and exciting to me. *That* is the sign of a great attraction for sure.

This was a tough decision for me, in the end I had to give it to Montu. I've never really been a fan of the Tower of Terror or anything at Disney for that matter. Being a coaster news reporter it was easy for me to give Montu the vote.

That's pretty closed-minded, wouldn't you say William? It loses just because it's a Disney attraction?

Montu, Montu, Montu, Montu, Montu!!!
Like I said, Montu is one of the best coasters I have ever rode and Tot is one of the best non-coasters; but Montu is past the line that a non-coaster can compare to a coaster. This is why I vote for Montu!
