S&S Worldwide has announced the sale of a brand new 4th Dimension roller coaster for the 2011 season. The new coaster, only the third 4-D coaster ever built in the world, will be going into Dinosaur Park in Changzhou, China. The press release describes the experience at featuring a 250 foot tall lift hill before taking the vertical plunge down at 80mph. From there the layout is only described as featuring, “raven turns, dives and half-twists”. The trains are described as holding 24-passengers each… so we’re looking at six cars per train it seems. X/X2 at SFMM had 7 cars while Eejanaika in Japan cut the trains back to only 5 cars. I’m hoping to find out more about the layout soon as well so stay tuned!
